101 Things About Me

So I read all of my friend Monae's 101 things and she challenged anyone who read the entire thing to do one as well. I know there is not 101 things for me to share but I will try.

1) I have gone by Becca since I can remember

2)But for anything legal, work, medical, etc I always use my full name- Rebecca

3) I thought when my name changed from Farrar to Robins, I would not have to spell my last name any more.

4) I was wrong. Most people spell Robins as ROBBINS. Still have to spell it for EVERYTHING

5) I was my husbands boss when we met.

6) He will tell you I am still his boss.

7) I love that I have a big family. It makes reunions and get togethers great.

8) I love my husbands small family because you are always in touch with everyone and never get left out of the loop on accident.

9) Mike and I have been married almost 7 years and still no kids.

10) I hate when people ask why we don't have children yet. Really, is it any of your buisness?

11) I don't mind sharing my story of infertility- on my terms. Not beacuse people are being nosy.

12) I miss the Bolanders dearly...they have been such great friends and I can't wait to visit them at New Years!

13) My husband was extremely inactive when we met, the Bolanders were a key part of his reactivation and finally going to the temple for us to be sealed....Thank you Cory for all the hints and urging on that.

14) I have done both IUI and IVF and do not regret any of the procedures I have done. I have always prayed about those decisions and know that I am doing what the Lord would have me do.

15)I love Disney Land.

16) That is where Mike and I "honeymooned" and we went again for our 6 year anniversary. Hoping to go again within the next 3 or 4 years.

17) But I want to travel to new places too.

18) Our honeymoon was more a family vacation. Basically all of us had planned to go to Disney Land. Us for our Honeymoon and Joyce, Carma, Amanda and Ryder for a vacation. Rather than all of us pay over 200 for tickets to fly we each pitched in 50 for gas and drove down together.

19) I love that my husband has the fun-loving attitude of a child....He was more excited for Disney Land then any child I have ever known...both times.

20) I wanted to be a music teacher when I grew up.

21) I took one college class and then decided it was not for me. I am not that in to school. Maybe now that I have matured I will go back some day.

22) I listen to almost any kind of music, but jazz is still my favorite.

23) I can spend an entire paycheck and more in a half hour at Deseret Book, but I take years to read all the books. Hey- they are there if I ever find the time.

24) My infertility has been a blessing, not a curse. I have grown so much from the experience and made a ton of new friends.

25) Yet, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

26) Since moving I have been able to attend Relief Society for the first time in 3 years....but I do miss primary.

27) I love photography and have been lucky enough to be hired to take photos for people lately.

28) I personally don't think I am that good at formal photos- candids are my forte

29) My husband is my inspiration in life, he makes me want to be my best.

30) I love Disney movies, mostly Disney Pixar.

31) I have struggled with my weight all my life, even more since the PCOS.

32) But I have lost 35 pounds in the last 6 months- and kept it off!

33) I still eat pizza and ice cream.

34) I love to read the Book of Mormon and feel it is what keeps me strong.

35) I have been reading the Great and the Terrible series and can not wait for Volume 6 to come out....yes I preordered it.

36) Can't believe I am only on number 36! This is hard.

37) I wrecked an ATV pretty bad around my 2nd anniversary. The Axel broke after hitting a rock (there is a reason it was not visible but too long a story) and I ran into a mountain, the ATV rolled on top of me then back upright with me on it and then threw me off.

38) I was lucky to hit the mountain. The opposite way was a cliff and I wouldn't be here today if that had happened.

39) Mike is not the only one who hopes he gets a job out of Boise.

40) His reason is to get a job in his field, mine is because I think a new experience would be nice. I have lived in Boise my entire life.

41) I hope he gets a job at Pixar.

42) I love Disney Land as much as Mike does.

43) I have only really kept in touch with one person from high school as closely as I would like...I am trying to get back in touch with the others.

44) That one person is Sarah Greenup. Others were pretty close for a few years.

45) Sometimes I cry for no reason other than to let it all out.

46) I keep a journal very regularly...amazing enough.

47) I wish I were more spiritual. I pray for help with that nightly.

48) Sometimes I blame myself for things that are out of my hands...like my infertility, Mike having gained wieght, and so much more.

49) Some of my favorite tv shows are Chuch, Psych, Jon & Kate Plus 8, and my most guilty pleasures are the Disney channel shows. That is right...Hannah Montana, Suite Life, Life with Derek, and a few others.

50) I plan to write a book some day. Just not yet, it will be non fiction, and I have not experienced my ending yet.

51) I take lots of trips to Yellowstone, thanks to Joyce for living so close.

52) I just took Mike to the Oregon Coast for the first time in his life in March, and it was wonderful, cold but wonderful.

53) I gained a total of 10 pounds during the IVF process, and lost 7 within 24 hours of my retrieval.

54) I am a bleach addict....my whites are always bleached and all loads get colorsafe bleach...and plenty of it....but my whites sure are white.

55) I can not believe I am still this early on in this list. I am totally overwhelmed.

56) My husband has taught me how to laugh more freely and be less serious. Something I never thought was possible.

57) I can always get my husband to smile. And then get him to smile if he wants to be tickled....

58) I miss Addison, Maya, Drake and Alia, but I really miss Vigo, I love how he says my name....see you soon.

59) I decorate my home in a modern asian theme. Except the guest room which has no theme at all....sorry guests.

60) Oh yeah, and our guest bath is all BSU. I love the broncos. GO BRONCOS!

61) I love a candle...I don't care if scentsy is "safer" I just love the flicker of the flame.

62) I am glad that when people hear Mike just graduated they assume that we are just waiting to have kids until he was done with school.

63) I love the fact that we are now able to attend the temple and we are trying to make it a weekly event.

64) My parents have been such an inspiration to me. They have really shown Mike and I what an eternal marriage is all about.

65) When I start to clean I go crazy.

66) I have not ridden the exercise bike since we moved. oops.

67) My sister offered to let us go to Hawaii with her if we had our temple reccomends.

68)I am glad we turned her down because I will never wonder if we just went to the temple to go to Hawaii.

69) I really doubt I am going to make it to 101.

70) I read the comics by going down one column and then up the next. I don't know why, just the way I do it.

71) I am shocked at how interested I have become in current events. I never thought I would be one to watch the news and read msn.com and the news sights.

72) I love that my new ward is not another newly-wed-and-nearly-dead ward....no offense to my old one.

73) I really love camping and miss it since we were not able to go at all this year....thanks to DirecTV giving Mike split days off.

74) I already have names picked out for my future children...

75) It helps me keep hope that one day I will have some.

76) I am really tired of the Geico Caveman commercials.

77) I listen to Mike and Kate in the morning. Even though they play that song I can not stand.

78) I mean Leona Lewis....She keeps bleeding, keeps, keeps bleeding...yet she is still alive?

79) and that one guy, it's too late to apologize....and it is too late for that song.

80) My ipod is my favorite road trip companion (Mike would be but he sleeps and plays psp the whole time I drive). Unfortunately, it is a little sick right now.

81) My scrapbooking is very far behind....I love it but it is soooo easy to get behind on.

82) My favorite kind of icecream is mint choc. chip....as long as it is not too minty.

83) I love Christmas but have found it more depressing since all the children in my life moved across the country.

84) My hair is naturally curly but I straighten it all the time because half of it goes straight as it dries...ugh!

85) I only trust my wonderful hair gal Maya with my hair. She is the best. I almost cried when she went to Spain for 6 months to study at the beginning of the year.

86) I still feel like I am 20 years old. Maybe because since I got married I have not really kept track of my age. Every time people ask how old I am I have to pause and think. The other day I said 25....well, I will be 27 in November so that was wrong.

87) Mike is my best friend. I am so lucky to have him in my life. He has helped me grow and has been there for me through thick and thin.

88) I love my job but hope one day will be able to stay home with a family.

89) I am trying to cut salt out of my diet....PCOS raises a persons risk of heart disease. So I am trying to avoid that.

90) I wear mineral makeup. It is so wonderful. I love it.

91) I have found that I am more of an outdoors person in recent years. I love nature and just being in it. It is so awesome to see the beautiful things the Lord has created for us to enjoy.

92) I almost always where a cami under my blouses and shirts

93) I still find myself going to my personal largest size of clothes. I cant get used to the fact that I am down 3 full pant sizes and 3 shirt sizes.

94) I am insecure about my smile....I hate my teeth and look forward to getting them fixed eventually.

95) I like to watch Everybody Loves Raymond reruns...It reminds me so much of my life with Mike. and just like in the show...the wife is usually right...just kidding.

96) I am not a very good cook and want to change that. I am thinking of taking a cooking class from community education or somewhere.

97) I really want to go to Hawaii, Europe, Austrailia, Mexico, and many other places.

98) I am so grateful that I have never had a Word of Wisdom problem. After seeing the issues my friends have had with the WoW has made me realize what a blessing it is to never had that as a temptation in my life.

99) I want to get an SVU for camping reasons but dont want to have to pay for the gas....I really want an XTerra

100) I am saving for my next big vacation even though I haven't decided what it is yet.

101) Amazed that I got through this and was able to come up with 101 things.

Ok, like Monae, if anybody reads this entire thing I am challenging you to also do one. It was tough but it really got me to think and explore my life. I am glad I did it.
