So this weekend, my friend Sarah flew up from Salt Lake City for a visit. She flew in late Thursday. I was not able to take Friday off work so she went and visited with her sister while I was at work. After work we went to the Cracker Barrel for dinner and came back home and watched a movie (Get Smart- I really liked it). Saturday morning we went shopping and Sarah went and got her hair done with my hair gal, Maya. I would have gotten mine done but I have an appointment next week. Later that night we went and met up with Natalie and Stephanie, some old high school friends. It was a lot of fun to get together with them and catch up.
Afterwards, Sarah and I came home and played some wii with Mike, and set up a blog for her...check it out....sarahgreenup.blogspot.com
Today, before taking Sarah to the airport there was only one thing to do when someone has a new hair do, new clothes, and I got a new tripod for my camera....PICTURES. Sarah needed some new pictures for her blog and facebook pages. All the ones she had were very old. Mike and I also needed some new pics. So we headed to the train depot to take some pictures. I then came home and edited a lot of them. Sarah had some skin cancer removed from her nose and had a scar that isn't quite gone yet so I got rid of it for her since it will be gone soon anyways. It was fun having Sarah here. It was a blast getting together with Steph and Natalie. I hope to keep in touch with them.
Mike and I have another exciting weekend next week. As long as the weather allows we will be heading up to Lewiston to visit Mike's family.
I am so thankful for the many wonderful blessings in my life. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays because we do not focus on what we want or get. We don't focus on buying presents, or having everything just perfect. The focus is on family and giving thanks for all the blessings in our lives. I hope that through the next few weeks before Thanksgiving we can all remember the many things we have to be thankful for.
